Our approach

How we reach a recommendation.

Every recommendation follows the same discipline. Here is the method, so you can judge the conclusion.

We start with the business outcome

Not with AI, not with software, not with automation, and not with a provider. Discovery begins with what you want to improve, what is happening today, where time or money is being lost, and what success would look like. The technology question comes after the business question.

Every opportunity must answer the same questions

  • Is the problem significant enough to solve?
  • Is the current process the real issue, and can it be simplified first?
  • Can your existing software already handle the requirement?
  • Is there a native capability or a practical integration available?
  • Is there a proven off-the-shelf product that solves it reliably?
  • Is AI actually appropriate, or just fashionable?
  • Is custom development genuinely justified?
  • What is the likely cost, the expected outcome, and the implementation risk?
  • Is the organization ready, and what should be done first?

We consider options from simplest to most involved

Doing nothing yet, improving the process, using what you already have, connecting existing systems, buying an established product, and building something specific. We start at the simple end and only move toward complexity when the evidence justifies it. Custom work is a last resort, not a default.

What the recommendation contains

  • The most valuable opportunities, and what should be avoided
  • Recommended priorities and the right next step
  • Existing tools that can be better utilized
  • Alternatives that were considered, and why they were set aside
  • Expected business outcomes, key constraints, and risks

It is written in business language. You should be able to act on it without learning how any of it is built.

Our incentives are part of the method

We do not sell software or implementation, and we do not earn more when a project grows. The recommendation is completed before any provider is invited to participate. The full model is published in our provider disclosure.

Our job is not to create a project. Our job is to identify the right next move.
